Hunting Black Bears in Canada's North

We have received permission to use baits, the first ever in the NWT in addition to spot and stalk hunts. Hunts for "big and bold" black bears take place west of Great Slave Lake about 3 hours south of Yellowknife by road. Stay at a trapper's cabin and hunt after midnight as the days are long in the spring up here.
Includes travel, accommodation and meals from Yellowknife. License and trophy fees extra.
$3,500 USD plus 5% GST
2007 Schedule
Maximum 4 hunters each week;
Hunt Monday to Saturday, mid-May to mid-June.
